  1. You're adorable and I have no doubt that your grandmother's queso was much loved but have you ever tried to make a bechamel? you can use whatever cheese you want in it. Velveeta, aside from being fairly bland and well, not tasting like cheese (which makes sense as it's not a cheese) is also pretty expensive for what it is. I'd recommend a chedder/gouda mix with just a bit of blue cheese to bring up the flavor a bit then add in the rest of your veggies.

  2. Born and lived in Texas all 20 years of my life and never knew making queso was this easy; I am so making queso around once a week from now on. Gonna put my own personal twist and try a bit of habanero pepper. Thats just the kind of spicy I like.
